Our History
My Doggie Bag was born around 10 years ago as TopDog Barkery.
Back then healthy natural treats were hard to find and when our pack was joined by Winnie the Boxer everything changed.
He was a rescue boy with numerous problems. By the time he was one year old he had developed serious allergies and subsequent skin conditions.
At first research, then baking begun. We have now been selling natural dog treats for over 8 years at weekly farmers markets in Christchurch and the Canterbury Region. We talked to hundreds of frustrated people who found it difficult to reconcile the promise of dog treats and the actual product.

We love dogs and we love to keep dogs healthy so we decided that we would deliver the best and healthiest dog treats to our four legged friends. And thats it.
